The Texture Clash

Sunglasses - Chanel
Coat & Top - Topshop
Leather Pants - H&M
Boots - Kurt Geiger
Bracelets - Zara & Topshop

I picked up this Topshop teddy bear coat in their sale a few weeks ago and I have not had it off my back since! As a huge lover of outerwear I have had my fare share of coats but this may just be my warmest yet!

I have a real weakness for mixing textures so my new leather pants from H&M do just the trick. Finding the perfect leather pant is not an easy task but these bad boys are like a second skin.

Return to the Country

Coat - Sisley
Top - H&M
Jeans -  Topshop (Jamie)
Boots - Kurt Geiger

I am so happy to be home for a few days to catch up with my folks and chill out. I am a lover of classic pieces, and I love nothing more than a simple breton stripe, skinny black jean and minimal coat. If I'm ever having one of those "what the hell will I wear today?" days, this is my go to uniform!

Paris: Chanel and Alaïa (Day3)

Necklace - ONLY
Polo - Marks & Spencer
Coat - Autograph at Marks & Spencer
Jeans - Shine
Trainers - Topshop

Today was an extremely fashion filled day! I spent the morning by the Grand Palais trying to get a sneak peek at fashion royalty attending the Chanel Haute Couture Fashion Show. To say the style was amazing would be an extreme understatement! Editors, stylists and celebs alike arrived decked out in their quilted Chanel bags, tweed two piece suits and minimal monochrome outfits.

My pictures were taken outside Paris' fashion museum, Musée de la mode de la Ville de Paris. The Palais Galliera is honouring Azzedine Alaïa with its opening exhibition. Alaïa in my opinion is one of the best designers of our time. He has a true understanding of the female form and his work is timeless. I would strongly recommened anyone visiting Paris in the coming months to check out this utterly breathtaking exhibition of his work.

Paris: Love Lockdown (Day 2)

Shirt & Skirt - Zara
Jumper - Marks & Spencer
Necklace - Vintage
Coat - Sandro
Faux Fur - Topshop
Boots - River Island

Handbag - Michael Kors

When I come to Paris I tend to stick to my same favorite places. The love lock bridge is such an idyllic spot for a stroll. It also is right beside some of the best ice cream shops on the Île Saint-Louis, Paris. I'm not the biggest fan of ice-cream but this is the real good stuff!

Although I do prefer the narrow bustling shopping streets of Le Marais, I have a serious weakness for Le Galeries Lafayette. It has absolutely everything under one divine glass dome painted roof. From Zara to Celine, this is a fashionistas paradise.

Today was particularly cold so I layered up to the max. With my Sandro coat and Topshop faux fur I was sure not to feel a thing. My new River Island booties were a dream for my long days walking, the chain gives them that Balenciaga edge, a steal at 60euro!

Paris: Home Away From Home (Day 1)

Hat & Jumper - Penneys/Primark
Coat - Sandro
Jeans & Trainers - Topshop
Handbag - Louis Vuitton

Cringy as it may sound, Paris has always felt like a home away from home for me. Throughout my childhood my Parisian mother brought me back to her city several times a year. Now, we try to go together once a year.

My mum is equally as fashion obsessed as myself and so she is the perfect person to spend 6 days in Paris with. It also helps that she knows the place like the back of her hand!

This trip nicely coincided with the end of Men's Fashion Week and Haute Couture Fashion Week, making the street style an absolute feast for the eyes! Oh, and the sales were bloody brilliant as well. Nowhere does sales like Paris!!

Jumper- H&M
White tee- Zara
Leggins- Penneys/Primark
Loafers- Manfield (http://www.manfield.fr/)

I have developed an obsession for layering recently, and given the absolute baltic weather it is kinda needed! These leather/ wet look leggings are my latest Penneys/Primark bargain. I think they were €9- how could you resist! They are so versatile and can be worn casual as seen here, or throw on a heel and a dressy blouse and you are good to go for a night out!

The Pink Coat

Necklace- Penneys/ Primark Limited Edition
Jumper- Marks&Spencer
Coat- Marks&Spencer
Brogues- ZARA
Bag- Louis Vuitton

The pink coat is dominating the high end and high street this winter with Marks and Spencer and Topshop leading the way with the best options on the high street. It took a very long time to track this bubblegum pink beauty down but it was totally worth it and it will certainly brighten up my winter days!!

Sun Glazed

Fur Headband- Boutique in Hillsborough N.Ireland
Coat- Marks & Spencer
Top- Marks & Spencer (Peruna)
Jeans- Topshop
Shoes- Marks & Spencer

Nothing like a bit of white on white on a dry, crisp November day. This is another new Marks & Spencer winter coat to add to my obsession, I mean collection. Just because the days are getting duller and darker doesn't mean our wardrobes have to reflect this!

Mac is Back

Mac- Zara
Top- Penneys/Primark
Jeans- Tophop 'Jamie' style
Shoes- Manfield
Bag- Michael Kors Jet Set Medium

The mac is perfect for this Autumn weather. I like to think this casual look is a nod to the chic, simplistic Parisian style. I guess my French mum will be the judge of that!

This Michael Kors handbag is the dream. It holds absolutely everything, is excellent quality and looks very pretty if you ask me. I would say to anyone investing a bit of dosh in an everyday handbag to check it out. The new Michael Kors store just opened in Dundrum Town Shopping Centre so now you have an excuse to pop in for a wee visit, Christmas is coming soon after all gals...
