Royal Ascot

Hat: By Milliner Sarah Stephens at Frock N Fabulous
Dress: Zara
Shoes: Zara
Clutch: Diane Von Furstenberg

Ascot kick started our long weekend in London and really, what a start to the trip it was. Every little thing about Ascot is fabulous and extravagant.

Needless to say I spent most of the day more gooey eyed at the fashion of the beautiful attendees than I did the actual horses on the field.

My outfit was put together very, very last minute, i.e the day before we flew. But thanks to amazing milliner Sarah Stephens, I got my hands on one of her stunning creations on such short notice. I fell in love with the individuality and sheer elegance of the hat instantly. I brought a Gatsby feel to the look with my pretty drop waist dress and dainty T-bars, teamed with the DVF hard clutch the look was given a little edge.

Now I am back in Dublin I just want to dress up and go back to Ascot oncemore. Until next year....

Sunday Strolls

Leather Jacket: Topshop
Top:Hand-me-down from Momma MacNeice
Jeans: Topshop'Baxter'
Handbag:Louis Vuitton Speedy

On my Sunday strolls I tend to jump straight into my trusty jeans with my battered but very much loved boots, and go for a dander around lovely Dublin. This leather jacket is the most treasured item in my wardrobe, so expect to see a lot more of this wee number popping up. A good leather will take you anywhere, as this beauty has taken me for over 8 whole years.

Drawn to Dungarees

Jacket: Topshop
Dungarees: River Island
Top: Vintage
Shoes: Office
Bag: Om Diva
Bracelet: Topshop

Dungarees are EVERYWHERE this season, from high street to high end they are unavoidable! I for one happily jumped on this fashion bandwagon with a more formal, tailored pair.

Coupled with a plain tee or shirt these beauties will take you anywhere... especially down memory lane.

Farm Frolicking

The weather and gorgeous scenery up home in the Orchard County give me an excuse to get the legs out, God only knows I am a sucker for a city short.

I kept the look simple and minimal with a heavy knit vest and statement necklace.

As you can tell the country makes me happy.
